Below you will find the eligibility criteria for all programs offered by the university.

Financial aid and Scholarships
The university offers scholarships and financial aid to deserving students. The details
are given below:
Scholarships
1. School Topper's Scholarship: 50% waiver on Tuition Fees
Students under this scholarship category will receive a 50% waiver on Tuition Fees for
the four year duration of the program, subject to satisfying criteria for continuation
of the scholarship.
Eligibility for Topper's Scholarship: -
The student must be the topper of the school from which he/she completed Class 12 board,
and satisfy the requirements as mentioned in the table below:
The student must provide a letter of recommendation from the Principal of the respective
school confirming the satisfaction of eligibility for the School Topper's
Scholarship. For more details, please contact scholarship@snu.edu.in
2. Merit-Based Scholarship: 25% waiver on Tuition Fees
Students with at least 95% marks in Class 12 Board or at least 98 percentiles in JEE
Mains or at least 40 in IB Board (without bonus point) or A* in all subjects in
Cambridge Board can apply for Merit Based Scholarship, which offers 25% waiver on
Tuition Fees for the duration of the program, subject to satisfying criteria for
continuation of the scholarship.
3. Scholarship for candidates from low-income households: 100% waiver on Tuition Fees
and Hostel Charges
The university supports students from low-income households with a 100% waiver on Tuition
Fees and Hostel Charges. Mess and Laundry Charges have to be borne by the student. The
waiver is available for the duration of the program, subject to satisfying criteria for
continuation of the scholarship. Students have to qualify through the regular selection
process of the university. The Scholarships Committee decides the number of scholarships
and their decision is final and binding.
Students from the following schools with combined family income below Rs 3 Lakhs per
annum are eligible to apply. If your school is not in the list below and you meet the
low-income cutoff, and you have received admission to a program of the university,
please contact admissions@snu.edu.in
Sports Scholarship:
Students with ranking in their sport from 1 to 100 ranks issued by their respective
sports federations in India are eligible to apply. Due weightage shall be given to the
Certificates of Winners/Participation at International, National, State level
tournaments in respective sports/games recognised by National/International sports
bodies of respective sports/games.
It is mandatory for the candidates to qualify for the PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST and SPORTS
SPECIFIC tests (related to the game/sport of the applicant) conducted by the Department
of Physical Education and Sports to avail sports scholarship.

In addition, other team sports may be considered after review by the Shiv Nadar
University sports committee if the students are representing the country
internationally.
College Board India Scholarship:
If you have secured admission to a Shiv Nadar University program through the College
Board SAT, you may be eligible for a College Board India scholarship. The following
conditions apply:
- Must be a resident of India
- Family income status < INR 8,00,000 per annum
- SAT score equal to or higher than 1300 (out of 1600) that qualifies the test taker
as a “Top Performer”
- Must have graduated from Class 12 in the year student applies for admission to an
Indian Global Alliance member university in India
Financial Aid:
Please check the appropriate box in your application form to apply for financial aid from
Shiv Nadar University.
Once you receive an offer of admission, you will receive another form to fill in
additional details. The financial aid committee of Shiv Nadar University will decide on
your application for financial assistance, and the committee's decision will be
final and binding.
All applicants are required to submit the following documents with their financial aid
form:
- Income Tax Returns of all earning members of the family
- Address Proof
- Bank Account Statements of all family members
- School Fee Receipt(s) of the applicant for grade XII
- School Fee Receipt(s) for the applicant’s sibling
- Details of Financial Asset(s) owned by the family
- Company's Income Tax Returns and Bank Statements (in case any earning member of
the family owns a business)
Retaining your scholarship or financial aid:
Students who receive financial aid or scholarship must maintain CGPA 6.5 at the end of
every Spring Semester (after consideration of the Summer Semester, if any) to retain
their scholarships.

Route 1:JEE Mains 2024 or 2023: High performers may be offered direct
admissions based on their JEE (Mains) score in 2024 or 2023. The University reserves the
right to interview the candidate if needed.

- The candidates can apply through multiple routes in the same application form
- The SNUSAT will be available in physical mode only, in designated test centers
identified by Pearson Vue. Online examinations will be available only for reasons of
medical need or significant logistical issues or for students in boarding schools
- Interviews of shortlisted candidates will be conducted online
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed regarding the online interview with their
respective department
- The option to apply through CUET and/or NEET would be available after the
declaration of results of these National Level Exams

Disclaimer
*The offer of admission is conditional and subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria
and payment of fees by the date mentioned in the offer letter.
The offer of admission will expire if the fee is not paid by the last date mentioned
in your offer letter. However, the university reserves the right to reconsider your
application after the last date of fee payment only if seats are available in the
preferred program.
The University reserves the right to release the offer letters before or after the dates mentioned.
SNUSAT & APT
For 2024, only the School of Engineering will use both SNUSAT and APT. If you are
applying to any other School, you do not need to take the APT.
The SNUSAT measures proficiency in a language, the ability to apply the mind to simple
problems, data interpretation, and logical and abstract reasoning. The APT tests subject
knowledge.
1. SNU Scholastic Aptitude Test (SNUSAT) for 2 hours (Same for all programs): SNUSAT
exam
2. Academic Proficiency Test (APT): If you are applying to any program in the
School of Engineering, you are required to take two subject tests in Physics and Maths
(45 minutes each)
SNUSAT exam has two components: Multiple-choice questions and an essay. There is no
negative marking.
SNUSAT Essay must be typed on the computer within the stipulated time.

UNDERGRADUATE FEE STRUCTURE 2024

One-time fee payments
Annual Tuition Fees and Living Expenses for First Year batch of 2024
1.Tuition, Hostel, Mess and Laundry Fees:will be revised annually by up
to 8%
2.The living charges is inclusive of Hostel fee , mess charges , laundry charges
and covers access to 24*7 primary medical services. The hostel fee considered is for
twin sharing non-AC rooms. Any other type of accommodation, including AC or single
rooms will be charged additionally.
