* It is important to note that the applicant must have qualified
10+2 as per the criteria of the respective board and must have pass in all subjects
mentioned in marksheet.
Scholarships & Financial aid:
Shiv Nadar University Delhi NCR offers scholarships and financial aid to deserving
students meeting the eligibility criteria.
Terms & Conditions:
- - Students must select the type of scholarship they wish to apply for when they are
filling the application form.
- - Shiv Nadar University Delhi NCR reserves the right to edit and alter this
eligibility policy as it deems fit.
- - Scholarships cannot be clubbed, a student must choose any one scholarship if
awarded more than one scholarship.

Shiv Nadar University Delhi NCR offers the following types of undergraduate scholarships.

The details are given below:
Scholarships
1. Merit-Based Scholarship: 25% waiver on Tuition Fees
Award: Students under this scholarship category will receive a 25%
waiver on tuition fees for the four-year duration of the program, subject to terms and
conditions.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria:
1 - Students with at least 95% marks in Class 12 Board
OR
2 - At least 98 percentile in JEE Mains of 2024 or 2025
OR
3 - At least 40 points in IB Board (Without Bonus Points)
OR
4 - For Cambridge Board students must score A* in all Subjects
Satisfying minimum eligibility criteria does not automatically guarantee
award of scholarships2. School Topper's Scholarship: 50% waiver on Tuition Fees
Award: Under this scholarship category, the university offers
a 50% waiver on tuition fees for the four-year duration of the program subject to
terms and conditions.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria:- The student must be the topper of the
school from which he/she completed class 12th supported by a Letter of Recommendation
from the Principal of the respective school, and obtain minimum 98% aggregate marks in
12th board exams.
The decision to award the scholarships rests solely with the university and is not
subject to appeal.
The student must provide a letter of recommendation from the Principal of the respective
school confirming the satisfaction of eligibility for the School Topper’s
Scholarship.
3. Scholarship for candidates from low-income households: 100% waiver on Tuition Fees
and Hostel Charges
Award: The University supports students from low-income households with
a 100% waiver on Tuition Fees and Hostel Charges. Mess & laundry charges have to be
borne by the student. The waiver is available for the duration of the program, subject
to terms and conditions.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria: Students must be alumni of any of the
below-mentioned schools (not limited to) and the combined annual family income must be
less than Rs 3 lakhs.
4. Sports Scholarship:
Award:
Considering the aforementioned tiers, the committee might wish to include or exclude
certain benefits, or potentially combine elements from the recommendations provided
above.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria:
1. A Student must have accepted the offer of admission and confirmed their admission by
paying the required fee at Shiv Nadar University, Delhi NCR.
2. A Student will be eligible to apply for the Sports Scholarship based on their notable
sporting achievements from min. 1 to max. 100.
3. A Student can apply for sports scholarships for the games/sports in Badminton, Chess,
Squash, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, and any other sport recognized by the Department of
Physical Education & Sports at Shiv Nadar University Delhi NCR.
4. Students must hold the top ranks in the game/sports as per their respective Sports
Federations of India (SFI).
5. Students playing for India at recognized international tournaments from other sports
(outside of the list as mentioned below), may be considered for this scholarship as an
exception and as per the availability of the required resources and, the number of
players.
Selection Criteria:
- Applicants are screened centrally by the Department of Physical Education & Sports
and Admissions based on the credentials mentioned in the application form and relevant
documents.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for trials (those representing the country at any
national or international tournament during the trial period will be invited after their
return).

The list of Sports offered for Scholarship is mentioned below:
* Other team sports may be considered after review by the Shiv Nadar University sports
committee if the students are representing the country internationally.
5. Women in Engineering Scholarships
Award: Rs 1 lakh waiver on the tuition fee for the duration of the
program subject to terms and conditions.
6. College Board India Scholarship:
If you have secured admission to a Shiv Nadar University program through the College
Board SAT, you may be eligible for a College Board India scholarship. The following
condition apply:
- Must be a resident of India
- Family income status < INR 8,00,000 per annum
- SAT score equal to or higher than 1300 (out of 1600) that qualifies the test taker
as a “Top Performer”
- Must have graduated from Class 12 in the year the student applies for admission to
an Indian Global Alliance member university in India
Financial Aid:
Instructions:
- The “Financial Aid Application Form” will be enabled on the application
dashboard of all the students, the applicant must be informed to check the box
“Financial Aid Required” while filling up the admission application form at
the beginning of the admission process.
- The admissions team will reach out to you if you have received the offer of admission
to begin the process.
- Shiv Nadar University Delhi NCR reserves the right to edit and alter the eligibility
criteria as it deems fit.
- Scholarship and Financial Aid cannot be clubbed, a student must accept any one of these
if awarded.
- Details and proofs submitted along with the Financial Aid will be physically verified
by a nominated person at your address. You are advised to cooperate with the
verification process.

All applicants are required to submit the following documents with their
“Financial Aid” application form.
- Declaration of the number of family and earning members
- Declaration of the details of loan taken and loan statements for 6 months
- Income Tax Returns of all earning members of the family for two years (recent)
- Address Proof ( any two of the following: Voter ID, Ration card, Aadhar Card,
Passport, Electricity bill)
- Bank Account Statements of all earning family members for 6 months or Form 26 B of
Mother and Father/ Earning members
- Declaration by the parents on the number of bank accounts holds by them
- School Fee Receipt(s) of the applicant for grade XII & School Fee Receipt(s) for
the applicant’s sibling/s.
- Declaration of Details of Financial Asset(s) owned by the family as defined above
- Company's Income Tax Returns and Bank Statements (in case any earning member of
the family owns a Business)
- Area in sq feet (In case of houses & commercial spaces) and hectares (In case of
agricultural land)
- Declaration of the quantity of gold and silver in the possession of the immediate
family members
- Declaration of the vehicle/s owned by the immediate family members (copy of the
registration certificate to be submitted).
- Auto Loan if taken, the proof of the same to be presented.
- Declaration of the value of the investments and proof document of Insurance, FD,
Bonds, Mutual Funds, Insurance, and any other financial asset.
- Declaration of the scholarships that any of the family members have received in the
last 5 years.
Retaining your scholarship or financial aid:
Students who receive scholarships or financial aid must maintain a CGPA 6.5 at the end of
every Spring Semester (after consideration of the Summer Semester, if any) to retain
their scholarships.

Annual Tuition Fees and Living Expenses for First Year batch of

**Tuition Fee and living charges will be revised annually by up to 8%
**The living charges are inclusive of the Hostel fee, mess charges,
and laundry charges and cover access to 24*7 primary medical services. The hostel
fee considered is for twin-sharing non-AC rooms. For AC room, additional charges of
Rs 9K will be applicable.

admissions based on their JEE (Mains) score in 2025 or 2024. The University reserves the

Shiv Nadar University Scholastic Aptitude Test & Academic Proficiency Test (SNUSAT
& APT)
SNIoE ODAT will be available in online mode from July 2 –July 5, 2023 with 3 time
slots each day.
It will be a two hour online exam
SNIoE ODAT is for the candidates who have not appeared or qualified in UCEED or other
Design Entrance Examinations and want to apply for B. Des. Admission.
SNIoE ODAT assesses a student's
- Logic and reasoning (60 marks)
- General awareness (40 marks)
Make sure your internet connectivity and webcam of your device are working properly.
Place your device in a way that your face and upper body part is visible. You need to
keep the following items with you for the test:
- A4 sheets for rough work)
- Pen/Pencil
- Eraser and Sharpener
The qualifying students have to send their portfolios to design@snu.edu.in before their
scheduled interview.
Shiv Nadar University Scholastic Aptitude Test & Academic
Proficiency Test (SNUSAT & APT)
Shiv Nadar University Scholastic Aptitude Test (SNUSAT) is an entrance test for admission
to all the undergraduate programs at Shiv Nadar University Delhi NCR campus. It's an
online home-proctored test. It will be conducted across 6 cycles from January
2025 to July 2025 . The sample questions will be uploaded to your
application dashboard once you select the SNUSAT route and complete your application
payment.
The SNUSAT measures quantitative reasoning ability and logical reasoning.
Students applying to BTech programs and BS Computer Science must also take the APT which
tests subject knowledge in Physics and Mathematics.
